Heartbroken

“I hate this class.” declared Michael. “Every single time I come to this class I always fall asleep. I know it’s a bad habit but this class is so boring.” I told my best friend Isaiah. We both enter the class, going to sit at our usual spots. As soon as we sat down and started talking, the teacher told us that he had made a seating plan for the class this whole month. “ Of course Mr.Smith is gonna move us, he hates how we talk so much,” whispers Isaiah. We both started praying hoping we would sit next to each other. “Isaiah you will sit right next to my desk and Michael you will sit in the back corner, beside the empty seat.” Mr.Smith announces. We sadly looked at each other and did our signature handshakes. Slowly we depart in different ways. Before Mr. Smith started class he was interrupted by the school’s vice principal. Right behind her seemed like a girl who looked like she was a new student but I was not too sure. “Mr. Smith this is your new student Isabella. She just moved to California last summer,” announced the principal. I looked in her direction and to my surprise she looked back at me. I quickly looked away so i did not seem like a creep towards her already. Isaiah and I looked at each other then turned back looking at the front of the class. “Isabella, welcome to Chinook Saint junior high, you can take a seat in the empty seat beside michael.” She started walking towards her desk and sat down. Mr.Smith started class talking about the world war. “Why did you choose to come to this school, it is so boring.” I whispered to her. “Well my mom thought it was a good school. Also it was very cheap.” “Why did you move to California.” “ I didn’t really have a choice. My dad got a job here so we moved here. I had to leave all my friends behind.” Before I could have asked her something else, Mr.Smith yelled at me to leave the new girl alone and pay attention. She started laughing at me and I started laughing too. And that day I knew I fell in love with her.

This class slowly turned into my favourite. Everyday at social studies we would talk and make each other laugh. We always partnered up for every project. I did feel bad for Isaiah, so after class I talked to him, “Isaiah wait up.” “Oh hey Michael look who finally left his little girlfriend to talk to his best friend.” “She is not my girlfriend yet.” I quietly said to myself. “What was that.” Isaiah said. “Oh nothing.” I declared. “Anyways i wanted to talk to you about isabella.” “What is it,” He said furiously. “I hope she is not getting in between our friendship because you know no one can separate us.” “Micheal you want to know the truth, it feels like she is, ever since she came to our school, you have changed towards me.” “ It feels like I am losing my best friend.” He sadly said that towards me. When Isaiah told me how he felt it broke my heart. I never wanted him to think that a girl can get in between us like that, he is like my brother. “ I am so sorry Isaiah, I never knew you felt like this.” “It’s that you know how my past has been with girls and she seems so different.” “You always say that about every girl, watch she will leave you like the rest of the girls.” He sounded really frustrated. “ I can’t believe you said that, I tried to be a bigger man and see if you’re okay, but you only care about yourself and not about my happiness.” “You will never change.” I said. “When she breaks your heart don’t come crying to me because I only care about myself right.” “When Emily broke your heart, who helped you stopped crying. ME. But apparently I care about myself.” He yelled that and furiously walked away. You know what I don’t need him for anything. I said to myself. I turned around and went to find isabella at the cafeteria. While walking to the cafe, I thought to myself to ask her out. We have been friends for a while now and I like her and hopefully she likes me back. I reached the cafe and found Isabella and sat beside her. “Hey isabella.” “Hi michael how are you.” “ I am good, how are you.” Even though I am inside I am heated. “ I am good.” “That’s good.” I said. I was so nervous to ask her out. “So isabella I have been wondering if you um would you know like to maybe go out with me.” “Oh um michael i never knew you liked me, but sorry I don’t like you like that.” “Oh yea um it’s okay never mind imma just go.” When I stood up to walk away ,she grabbed my arm and said, “ I am just messing with you. Of course I would like to go out with you, I have been waiting for you to ask me for a while now.” “ I hate you so much.” I said laughingly. “ I really thought you were being serious. I was so sad. It took so much courage just to ask you out.” I was so excited, I was gonna date the girl of my dreams.

It was almost the end of the school year, and isabella and I have been together for 7 months now. Tomorrow will be our 8 month anniversary. It will also be the longest Isaiah and I havent talked for. We headed to our social class. When we reached class Mr.Smith wrote on the board that today we will be working on a new project. So everyone sat down and Mr.Smith said, “Good afternoon class as you probably saw on the board we will be doing a project.” I quickly looked at isabella and said. “ We are gonna do so good on this project together.” As soon as i said that. Mr. Smith said, “ But this time I will choose the partners. Isaiah you will be with michael and isabella you will be with cassandra.” He finished saying the groups and I was nervous for once to be partners with isaiah. We sat down and didn’t talk for 20 minutes of the class.  “ So how are you.” I said. “Wdym how am i after not talking to each other for 8 months, all you have to say is how are you,” Isaiah said furiously. “Well what am i supposed to say.” “ Nothing, it’s fine.” Isaiah said. Before I could say anything else, I saw isabella running outside on the phone crying. So I quickly get up and go after. She hung up the phone when she saw me. “What’s wrong.” “ My mom called me to tell me that my dad called and told her that he got a new job in Canada.” “ IN CANADA.” I said. “Yea so she is coming to pick me up right now to pack and leave by tomorrow.” “I guess this is the end, I sadly said. “ Yea i guess it is.” We hugged each other, she started crying and i almost did but i couldn’t because i didn’t want her to see me like that. She grabbed her stuff and left. I went back to class and started tearing up. The girl I loved and wanted to marry left me. “What’s wrong,” Isaiah asked. “ She is gone, gone forever.” “Are you okay.” “No, I just wanna go home.” I asked the teacher if I could call my mom. He said yes so I quickly left and called my mom. I told her i didn’t feel well. She came and picked me up. I got home and started crying. And i said to myself this is the end i don’t want anyone else.

Friendship Broken

Losing a friend can be terrible

You don’t just lose a friend u lose a brother

Someone who supports you

Someone who never leaves you

A brother who sheds tears with you

You start to rely on them

Telling them ur darkest secrets

Knowing you can trust them

Knowing you will always love them

Wishing you could take everything back

A friendship going on for years

Gone just like that

Them being ur first friend

Treating him like brother

Showing him to ur mother

But that still changing nothing

Lost him to a girl

Even though he promised me saying

No girl can get between us

He lied

He left

Now we just walk past each other

Acting like total strangers

This poem pretty much portrays that even a friendship or a brotherhood doesn’t last forever. There will always be something or someone who gets in between them. No matter how long they known each other. I also wrote this poem related to my story because in my story there is a conflict between two best friends. Who argue and fight because one leaves just for a girl.

Soccer

The sport soccer has been in my life for a while. I known this sport way before I knew some of my friends. Soccer has been something I do everyday, because its a 90 minute game with no worries or problems. Just your team, your opposing team, and fans cheering their favorite team. Playing in a professional team and playing in front of thousands of people has always been my dream. Also playing with or against one my favorite soccer player and role model has been a huge dream because, I watch him all the time then i get the opportunity to play with him is a dream that any kid could want. Kylian mbappe a 21 year old soccer the best youngster in the world and one of the best. His role model and favourite is the same as mine. Cristiano Ronaldo is the player me and mbappe look up to.And look at him playing against Ronaldo, he is basically living my dream. Soccer in my opinion isn’t just a sport, it teaches about life. For example respect. In soccer a lot of players switch teams due to transfer windows. When a player switches team it does not mean he hates that team, he still has respect from them because they made him who he is. Because of them he caught the eye of many better or high paying teams. So whenever an ex player plays for that team and he scores, as a sign of respect he put his hands and don’t celebrate. Leadership, in soccer being a leader is one of the most important key factor because the main thing scouts look in a player is if they an be a leader.
